Go Ask Alice is a diary of an actual teenage drug addict. It's one of the saddest books I've ever read. It's a really interesting book and it's a quick read. I don't know if I liked it, I just sort of have this indifferent feeling towards it. It is enlightening though, it's another one of those books that make you think about the things you do to people, how you treat them. In some aspects it points out the cruelty of human nature. It also has an insight about family love and love for God. Just warning anyone who decides to read it, it's not a fairytale ending, it's far from.
