After that, she decides she does not want to come back to art class, especially since she embarrassed herself in front of the vaguely familiar David, another student in the class who seemed to pay attention to her—something Sam has not experienced before, because guys usually seem to think that she's weird. Events that happen next end up her saving the president’s life, becoming a teem ambassador, and dating the president’s son. The way these events unfold is full of comedy, romance, and somewhat action. In the end, Sam learns how to “draw what she sees” when comparing it to her experiences throughout the book.
In my opinion, this book was entertaining to read and surprising in a way. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would want something to read because it is unusually interesting, funny, and very suspenseful. I think that people who like romance, comedy, and mild action should also read this book because they would enjoy it very much. If you liked All-American Girl then you can read the sequel Ready or Not that continues Sam’s life after the ending of this book.
