I believe in humanity. The ability of trust and understanding. I have a theory in which I believe that as American citizens, we have this constant fear of harm. The constant threat that mankind will betray and lie. I have this theory that we can be able to trust in mankind to be good and have decent morals, and if we were to just open up to not only friends and family, but to strangers; to people we literally know nothing of; and by doing this human nature will have a whole new meaning, a more giving and trust worthy meaning. Australia and Canada have trust in their societies, so much that locking one's door is not necessary, while we Americans, fear leaving the door open to collect our mail. If a burglar wanted to steal things in your home, they'll find a way. The world isn't out to get you.
Sharing personal thoughts and feelings is the greatest way of showing trust and compassion, and its worth even more when the person whom one were to share feelings with share the same feelings. There are six billion people in the world and the likelihood that at least one of them have the same experience or feeling is 100%. Another theory is that one can recieve the same or even greater advice to a stranger than a friend, because friends are biased and alot will tell you what you would like to hear.
