We Need To Stop Being Pigs

About two weeks ago when I went out of class after middle school lunch was over, I seen a jaw-dropping sight. All of the trash that was all around the campus was just ridiculous. The waves of seagulls that come in and attack the food never end. We don’t even need custodians to pick up the trash because the infestation of seagulls fight for every last piece of half eaten pizza, and empty milk cartons. In turn we get a nice big pile of bird crap right on our favorite shirt. This sad sight is not only seen here at Mayfair; everywhere you go–schools, parks, beaches, lakes, parking lots, freeways, etc -- you see trash and other debris. I believe we need to stop being filthy and careless and pick up after ourselves. It will not only make the earth look better but it will make it a much safer place.
We Americans take advantage of the luxuries that we have, even the simplest ones. There is a reason why we see politicians looking to find new energy efficient ways to expend energy. We’re see car companies and other industries looking to go green. Through research these people have seen the extent of the damage we have done to the Earth. We have infested and polluted our home with so much trash. Many countries do not have the luxury of having an efficient waste management system. These countries are so engulfed in trash and other harmful waste that it is not even safe to drink most of their water. People have to go on an all day venture just to find something decent to drink. If they see how we take advantage of our waste system I think they would be even more disgusted than they are by their nasty water.
Our uncleanliness is a sign of us not giving a … about anything or anyone but ourselves. We are so self centered that we can’t even take the time to dispose of our trash properly. There are so many people and other things like animals and plants that are affected by our horrible choices. The ecosystem is being destroyed at a quick rate by our lack of concern for anything or anyone but ourselves. It doesn’t take to much to simply pick up a little piece of trash after you use it
People stop being so dirty and pick up after yourselves. You may not realize it but affects you and so many other people and things. I believe we should take some time to pick up after ourselves.
