I Believe This

I believe that one way or another, things tend to work themselves out.
When things aren’t going so hot, I usually tell myself to just not even care and that things will eventually work out. I leave it in the hands of time to either burry it in the past, or fix it in the future. I realized that the gravity of our dilemmas are often opinionated. Our satisfaction with life is also more opinionated than it is dictated by our surroundings.
Mind over matter – if we don’t mind, then it won’t matter. Things only seem important because we make them important. Problems only seem stressful because we make them stressful. When I decide to say “Whatever, I’m over it; this is dumb,” things seem to work out. There is no point dwelling on problems, no point moping around like a bum, no point but to either forget about it, or do something about it. If there’s nothing you can do about it, then forget about it. Whatever happened happened.
Perspective is what our opinion on life is based upon. Sometimes we need to step out of our own shoes and look at ourselves from a third person point of view to see how okay things really are. Often we overlook the many things that work out for us because our minds are too clouded by the smog of stress. If we focus all our thoughts on whatever isn’t going our way in life, then of course life will seem crappy. We only have one life, so why not make it as pleasant as we can? We have more control over our moods than we think, so why constantly deprive ourselves of happiness by thinking about the negatives? Things work out.
I live by this belief. It keeps me going in life and I think it will do the same for others. Our lives are only as good as we perceive them to be, so why taint them with stressful, depressing thoughts? I told myself this many times and whenever I did, things ended up fine. Either it worked out or something else came up which made me forget about it. Or I just forget about it right off the bat and its importance just fades to nothing. I try not to waste my time worrying about things that don’t deserve the worry. Things will work out. One way or another, they will. Just don’t even worry and do what you have to do. This, I believe.
