I believe that everything happens for a reason. That friends come and go, but true ones stay forever. That life is a roller coaster, where we go through tough obstacles to become a stronger individual. I would never think that at my young age I would attend two funerals for my friends Mark Lapidario and Patrick Romey. I would never think that I would quit basketball my senior year, when my goal was to play basketball in college. I believe that all this happened for a reason. Quitting basketball made me realize the reality of my future. That the WNBA was my dream, until I realized what future lies ahead of me besides basketball. And attending two funerals gave me the realization that cherish every moment you have with love ones before it's too late. I realized that friendships I lost, aren't worth chasing for. It didn't work out for a reason. This is why I believe everything happens for a reason.
