For One More Day

It's not easy for me to pick out a book and keep an interest to it. It took several tries to find the book that would be glued to my hand. Until I found the novel, For One More Day by Mitch Albom. It was very touching and moved me more than any other books I've read; it nearly brought me to tears (and that doesn't quite happen too often). I was instantly hooked on this book based on the first few words written, "Let me guess. You want to know why I killed myself." The first thought in my head were Umm, YEAH! Chick Benneto was approached by a young reporter whom he told his story to. Due to his unhappy life, he try to commit suicide. He wakes up in the world between life and death where he is given another day to spend with his mother, who died 8 years ago. They walk through the memories of Chick's childhood which is a story of love, family, mistakes, and seeking forgiveness. I definitely recommend this book to anyone. It's a book we can all relate to and get a different outlook in life. Mitch Albom truly is one of my favorite authors. So, GO READ THIS BOOK!
