This I Believe

If you don't believe in yourself, who will?. I believe in myself. I believe that no one can tell me what I can't do. I believe that I can only truly depend on myself. I believe that I must motivate myself. I believe that I will be the best person I can be in all aspects of life. I believe that I can do anything if I put my time and effort into it. I often hear and see people blaming their problems on other people, and even I catch myself looking for someone to blame from time to time. But I take a step back and realize that I can't really blame anyone else, because like the saying goes,"if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself".
I know that when I ask someone to do something, there is a chance that they'll do it but there is also a chance that they don't whether they blow it off, forget, or whatever other reason. So if they do it that's great, but when they don't I could be angry. But usually it just reminds me that I can only depend on myself. When people doubt me tell I'm too (fill in the blank) to something, or "hate" on me , I could get uet and believe what they're saying. But instead I decide to ignore it, because I believe in myself, my ablities, and I refuse to put limitations on them.
Some people may mistake this for arrogance, but I see it as having great confidence in oneself. Arrogance is when you go around bragging and flaunting your accomplishments to anyone that is bored enough to listen. I can in no way say that I'm arrogant. But what I can say, is that I do and always will believe in myself.
