This I Believe

I believe in making our world a better place for future generations. Some important things that would help this change would be by recycling anything that can be used over and over again and by minimizing air pollution from factories and vehicles as much as possible. Land fields are being stuffed daily with all of our excess junk we use and get rid of. I believe it is time for a change and we need to act now before it is too late.

I believe recycling is very important in our society. There is so much that can be reused again and again; why throw it away and let it end up in a filthy land field? A lot of things do not even decompose such as plastics and electronics. I believe we can all do our part by just taking the time to recycle the little things like bottles and cans or even our old gadgets like computer parts and used televisions. Since so many new computers, televisions and other electronics are being produced yearly, recycling would really help to cut down the need to make all new parts.

Air pollution is another problem we need to take serious. I believe we can all benefit with cleaner air quality and can also do our part by helping out. Hybrid cars are becoming more available for ordinary people to purchase. I believe they really are beneficial to the world and hopefully more car companies will start to offer hybrid cars at affordable prices. They have even begun to make school busses hybrid with no smoke pollution at all. Just think if all the eighteen-wheeler cargo trucks were hybrid we would not have to worry about smoke blowing when driving behind them.

The main problem why enough is not recycled is probably due to not much advertisement. I believe if the message was spread out about how crucial it is to recycle and help with air pollution, people may actually listen and do what they can. The fact is our world is not going to last long if we do not make a change for the better; this I believe we can do with the helping hand of everyone.
