I believe in a solid foundation. I believe that a firm beginning results in an even firmer future. I believe that something must be done right now before you move on to bigger and better things. I believe that this solid foundation should be applied to all matters in life; school, work, friendships, family, and the big one, LOVE.
It was beat into me that those five things are what life is all about and that I should strive to conquer all of these feats. It is from this life lesson that I derived the solid foundation rule of life. Since my first day of kindergarten I have fully applied myself to not only succeed, but surpass all of my assignments. It is because of my dedication to education that I am in the position of awaiting an accredited college's approval. I have this belief to thank for my long-time best friend Ariana Allison. I met Ariana in the seventh grade and our loyalty all throughout high school has solidified a concrete base to our friendship. It is because of this concrete base that our friendship is still standing tall. My family has withstood a lot of internal damage and we all believe that it is because we were open and honest throughout our aversions. We also believe that our aversions - abandonment, poverty, betrayal, and abandonment again - have pulled our tight knit family even closer.
On multiple occassions I have witnessed my belief to be proven true. For this reason I decided that a solid foundation is a necessity in love, and therefore I made it a requirement in my love life. Joshua became a big part of my life in the seventh grade when he became my best friend. I didnt think it was possible for him to become a bigger part of my life until I fell head over heels for him two years later. Even after confessing our true love for each other nothing became of it. It took three years since the day of exposing our hearts for us to become an official item. I used those five years to build a solid foundation for us and now neither of us has any doubt in our relationship lasting.
Now not only has my family beat it into me but so has reality. I'm a firm believe in firm beginnings resulting in firm futures. I believe in solid foundations.
