Wolves, Murder, and a Wizard...oh my!

Okay so the book I’m doing is called Fool Moon by Jim Butcher. It is the second book for the a series called the Dresden files. The story kicks off with Chicago’s resident wizard and private eye Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, being almost out of money due to the events of the previous book. Until he is called upon by his friend by the local cop friend Lieutenant Karrin Murphey, as she calls upon him in his line of service. He is then dragged into a bloody murder mystery, in which all those who get killed are maimed by something akin to a wolf on the nights of the full moon. Throughout his hunt to find out the murder, Dresden ends up butting heads against some very powerful and scary figures. First off are the Alphas, a group of teenage werewolves; the Streetwolves, a group of lycanthropes (another version of werewolves); the city mob boss, Gentleman Johnny Macrone; and lastly both the FBI and the local fuzz. He also meets up with Harley MacFinn, who lives up to the werewolves people see in movies. There are twist and turns along the way as Harry slowly catches up to the murderer of the cases. His friend dies, he nearly gets arrested, he gets arrested, and well lost of people die due to the vicious murders he cannot seem to stop.
This book is full of action, suspense, betrayal, and a slight hint of romance. Chase scenes are all around this book, as well as a few shoot outs here and there. Here is a warning for you readers: some events in this story depict very detailed descriptions of the murdered scenes in the book, as well as some things not mean to be read by young readers. I will recommend this to people who love books on the mystical and eerie. I also recommend this book to those who would like to read a good murder mystery. I also recommend to others who are into this type of thing the rest of the series, as new and more interesting crimes must be solved, by the resident wizard.
